Soprano Does Something Totally Unexpected During Her Performance

She is one of Finland’s most luminous and charismatic artists. She has been praised for her singing technique, the masterly use of coloratura and musical excellence, also for her great way of interacting with the audience.

In this clip, she sings ‘Adele’s Laughing Song’ (“Mein Herr Marquis”) by Strauss from Die Fledermaus. Strauss himself would have liked that!

Soprano Sirkka Lamminen turns this piece upside down (literally) during a recital with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ralf Kircher.
