Indie duo Payson Lewis and Lindsay Pearce’s latest take on cover songs create a different presence for craziness. The melodic harmonizing of the two vocalists adds a different layer of texture to the song that helped put Green Day on the pop culture map in the 1992 release of Dookie.
Using synth keys in place of driving guitar and bass lines, Pearce and Lewis make going crazy seem beautiful and captivating. The pair have taken to Green Day as a music focus, diving into the Los Angeles music scene under the American Idiot branding, playing shows throughout the area and turning onto new fans around the world.
