The Denver Philharmonic Orchestra was on a 14 city tour in China over the past few weeks. But the players didn’t want to miss celebrating July 4.
So to mark Independence Day, they organised a flash mob and gave an impromptu performance at the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
The unexpected performance wins a warm response from onlookers. At the end, they wish everyone present a happy July 4.
The Denver Philharmonic’s 24-day tour of China is made even more impressive since a large number of the orchestra’s musicians are unpaid and the ensemble usually puts on around six concerts per year. Find out more at their website.
